Access to the Port of Cannes :

• By car : by motorway coming from Aix en Provence or Italy, take the "Mougins - Le Cannet - Cannes" or by road coming from Aix en Provence, drive along the seafront to Cannes / Nice.
• By bus : bus station located in front of the port. Regular shuttle service from/ Nice Airport and Monaco every 20 minutes.
• By train : train station located in the towncenter : 5 minutes from the port.
• Taxi : rank in front of the port, next to the Town Hall. Tel. 04 92 99 27 27

Navigation :

• Position: Lat 43°32’,7 N - Long 007°01' E
• VHF: channel 12 SHOM 7205 - 7409 / Navicarte 501
• Access in daytime: enter port between the W pier and the Sécant buoy, which indicates the shallow water limit – Max speed: 3 knots

Maritime regulation :

Sea-faring craft (scooters, jet-skis, ect) are not allowed to operate within 300-metre of the coastline (including the Islands). This includes canals for accessing the shore, canals reserved for high-speed nautical sports and the various listed below.

5 knot limit for all vessels, boats and craft, regardless of type, in the through channel between the Isles of St Marguerite and St Honorat, between the following alignement : The islets of la Tradelière / St Féréol to the east and Pointe du Dragon (Isle of ST Margherite) / Pointe Barbier (Isle of St Honorat) to the west.

The speed limit in the authorized visitors’ mooring zone is 3 knots.

Motor craft must remain outside the 300-metre coast band. Boat, vessels and craft of all type must adhere to a speed limit of 10 knots within the following section of the bay of Cannes: St Marguerite fort (on St Marguerite Island) / the Palm Beach Casino to the east, and Batéguier fort (on St Marguerite Island) / entrance light to the port of Cannes to the west.

Helistation impact - quai du large :

Located at the end of the "Quai du Large", between the two lighthouses, the helistation offers public helicopter transport on request (no scheduled flights or round trips). Its activity is particularly important during Cannes's famous events.

Care must be taken when entering or leaving port close to the Heliport
