The dry dock of Villefranche Darse |
 |
 |
The dry dock in Villefranche is heritage listed, as is the rest of the port. It
was built in the 18th century for the renovation of galley ships.
Located on a beautiful site and a jewel of marine architecture, the Port de la
Darse is the only port between Genoa and Toulon with a dry dock.
The dry dock is ideal for the gentle drying out of classic motor and sailing
yachts, with fragile wooden hulls.
Dock dimensions : 60m x 11m x 2.50m
It can take boats up to 40 m long and 6/8 m wide, with a maximum draught of 3.5
m, and can accommodate two boats simultaneously.
In addition, the on-site professionals will support you with all their
expertise, following the great tradition of marine repairs, in particular of
classic yachts.
Thanks to the passion for classic yachts, the renovated dry dock has
rediscovered its historic purpose.
The professionals … at your service
