- Port clients can use a
secure
Personal Access Area to allow them to consult all the information linked to
their boat(s): dimensions, made or confirmed visits, berth requests, position on
the waiting lists, invoice details and personal details.
Only clients who have already stayed in one of our ports can access this area
with their User Name (client number shown on all invoices). An invoice number
and a valid Email address will allow them to obtain their password on their
first connection.
- Media professionals (press, radio, TV, internet) also have a
tailor-made personal area which allows them to consult and obtain press
releases and files from the ports managed by the CCI.
They can send requests for information and modify the information held in their
account (personal details, password, desired categories of publications).
To subscribe, the relevant form must simply be completed (Press Card No. must be
given) and validation will be received within 24 hours from the Riviera-Ports
webmaster.
- The general public can
subscribe to Riviera-Ports publications (French, English, Italian) to keep
in touch with port news:
- Events: the annual events calendar
- News: major news items
- Corsica timetable: sent at each start of the season
- Encre Marine: quarterly newsletter (French only)
- Paper Encre Marine: paper version of quarterly newsletter (French only)
- Newsletter: sent monthly
- These requests do not need to be validated by the Riviera-Ports
webmaster and are available on subscription.
- As with the general public, professionals can obtain port
News and
Events (see subscription link above).
Professionals can also access a supplementary publication relating to cruise
ship calls (Cannes, Golfe-Juan, Antibes, Nice and villefranche): sent every
fortnight.
A complete file (in Excel format) of scheduled calls 2008/2009 can be
downloaded after subscription, which takes effect following a confirmation Email
from the Riviera-Ports webmaster.

RESERVATION

- Requests for berths in the ports of Cannes, Golfe-Juan, Nice and
Villefranche must be sent by registered letter to the Harbour Master. The
allocation of berths will be decided annually by the Allocation Commission, in
strict accordance with the chronological order on the waiting list.
There is a very long waiting time for annual berths and requests must be renewed
every 3 years.

- For the ports of Cannes, Golfe-Juan, Nice and Villefranche
Darse, yachtsmen have several reservation possibilities:
- The Central Reservation System, either online at
www.resaports.com or by phone on 0820 422
600 (€0.12 per minute). This system operates from 1st June to 30th September
2008 for sailing, motor and multi-hull yachts wishing to visit one of the
partner ports in the
Alpes-Maritimes. The telephone service is available 09.00 - 18.00 hrs 7 days
a week.

Cannes, (except for during events),
Golfe-Juan,
Nice and
Villefranche.
- The four ports managed by the CCI have several hardstanding
areas available for periodic maintenance of yacht hulls (cleaning, stripping and
painting).

Villefranche is available on Riviera-Ports and it is also possible to make
online reservations for each hardstanding area by selecting the desired port and
area from the menu.online

- Winter berthing, a quieter period during the winter season,
generally finishes in mid-April.In the Port of Cannes, an application form for
winter berthing is published at the start of each summer season to allow
captains/boat owners to better prepare for the low season. There are three types
of application forms, depending on the size of the boat :

Boats < 10 m

Boats < 18 m

Boats > 18 m
In the ports of Golfe-Juan, Nice and Villefranche there is no specific
application form, but the Port Office should be contacted before the start of
the winter berthing season in order to understand the procedures and organise
the required services for the desired time.

- The French
Riviera Cruise Club collects and presents useful information for cruise
passengers making calls on the Côte d'Azur.
It displays the
main events,
suggests excursions from the ports of
Cannes,
Nice and
Villefranche and gives general information on shopping and activities near
the ports.
The Regional
Tourism Authority is also available for any specifically tourist-related
information.

Boat excursions and passenger transport are organised from the
4 ports to
amazing destinations by
5 maritime companies: Lérins Islands, Corniche d'Or, Monaco, St. Tropez,
submarine viewing, firework display evenings, day whale & dolphin watching.

Professionals, individuals, yachtsmen and exhibitors can use parking
fee packages
- Port of Cannes - Laubeuf Quay
For individuals wishing to access a ship, the captain must inform the Port
Office of the day, time and name of the person to obtain a pass. For companies,
associations or school groups wishing to visit the quays very few parking
authorisations are given, unless special permission has been requested by faxing
04 92 98 70 01.
- Port of Golfe-Juan - Port Area Carpark :
Consult the process to obtain annual and monthly subscription rates in the
relevant section.
- Port of Nice - Infernet Carpark :
Preferential rates are given to cruise ship / Corsica ferry passengers. To
take advantage of this rate, show your boarding card at the cabin at the
entrance to the Infernet Carpark.
- Port of Villefranche Darse - Port Area Carpark :
Consult the process to obtain annual and monthly subscription rates in the
relevant section.

ORGANISE an event in the Port of Cannes

- There are 3 areas designed for hire for major events: for
modular use depending on the size, length and type of desired event :
- the Pantiéro Esplanade
- the Pantiéro Terrace
- the Passenger Terminal
It is possible to
send a hire request by using the relevant form.
- All the information, detailed terms and conditions, and the
technical characteristics of the exhibition areas of the Port of Cannes as
well as a
downloadable technical document are available from the Medial Library.
- The procedure to obtain a berth on the Quay d'Honneur (QH2002
Procedure) during events in the Port of Cannes can be carried out in several
ways :
- Pick up the official documents from the Port Office, and lodge them in person
or by post to the following address :

The opening and closing dates for the submission of applications, the
Berth Allocation Commission meetings and their results are published on
Rivera-Ports within a maximum of 48 hours after the meetings.
